Does Downloaded Audio Hypnosis Work?

  • Can downloaded audio hypnosis work for you?
  • What’s the difference between the two?
  • Which one should you start with?

Hypnosis is ‌an ‌audio ‌technique, so as long as you can hear what the hypnotist is saying, it will work. This means hypnosis works in person, online, or as a downloaded audio track because the principles are the same.

So the question becomes how skilled is your hypnotist?

If your hypnotist or Guided meditation coach knows what they’re doing; then listening to an audio recording can provide you with the means to take more control of your life.

The words and suggestions will have a lasting impact on what you think, which in turn will affect how you act.

Because you are using your imagination to do what the words and suggestions are asking you to do. And whether you realize it or not you’re also using visualization techniques along with your imagination.

This is all happening no matter the venue but there are few details you need to consider before you start downloading.

What’s the difference between Hypnosis and  Audio Hypnosis recordings?

If audio hypnosis works so well why doesn’t everyone do it? Because they either don’t know how or don’t know where to go or who they can trust.

You don’t need extensive training to listen to hypnosis audio recordings but you do need a basic understanding of how and why this works.

There are four stages to a successful hypnotic session.

  1. Induction
  2. Deepening
  3. Hypnotic programming
  4. End trance

Think of it as going down a flight of stairs to get a yummy dessert.

The first few steps are the induction.
The deepener takes you to the bottom.
On the bottom floor, the hypnotic program is your cake and ice cream.
And then finishing the last delicious morsel you climb up the last few steps and you’re back.

Someone that knows what they’re doing will be able to take you through the process, give you time to enjoy the mental meal, and peacefully lead you back out.

But even among the highest quality recording, your changes may be more gradual and the reason is hypnotic recordings are more generic.

Because they are designed to reach a mass audience.

The benefit of seeing a hypnotherapist in person is that they can prescribe a more tailored program for your specific needs. But again we come back to the skills and experience of the hypnotherapist.

Because no matter the medium you’re using for hypnosis, it’s still an activity that has to be undertaken under the guidance of a trained practitioner.

And if a trained hypnotist is doing the audio recording, they’ll follow the same principles as an in-person hypnotherapy session.

Even if they have to generalize their language terms like Self confidence, and slim figure still has a very personal meaning for you that will never belong to anyone else.

Which touches on one of the real secrets of hypnosis.

All hypnosis is Self-hypnosis.

Jasyon Quote

So if you’re buying your hypnosis recordings from a credible and well-respected source, you’ll be getting the same result as if you were in an in-person hypnotherapy session.

Your subconscious just has to take the extra step in taking a general suggestion and making it personal.

Should you start with hypnosis audio recordings or a live session?

In terms of effectiveness, cost, variety, and convenience, I’d argue that hypnosis audio downloads are hands-down better than a live hypnotherapy session.

Even if the downloaded session is not as specific as an in-person session. More on that including how to optimized a downloaded track in the next section

A good hypnotherapist will be able to work with you using a methodology that will usually get good results. But not every hypnotherapist shares the same level of skill and experience.

Also, things can get a little rocky if the hypnotherapist isn’t willing to enter the worldview of their client.

The last thing you want or need is to get sucked into someone’s private cult. You’re looking for solutions, not another group to belong to.

You also have to be aware that we all have our own set of beliefs and limitations and that applies to the therapist as well.

So in finding the right hypnotist you may have to shop around for someone who fits your personality and worldview.

The importance of these nuances does not become apparent until you’re in the chair

Getting someone to go into a hypnotic state is simple because trance is a natural state of being.

The skill comes with installing a subconscious program that will be accepted. This is why a hypnotherapist will send you home with a recording of the session you had with them to listen to over and over again.

Because repetition will sooner or later sink the suggestions into your subconscious mind.

But why do you need repetition in the first place?

You need repetition to allow your subconscious mind the space it needs to accept the new desired condition as reality.

A quality hypnotherapist will usually take 1 to 3 sessions to really flush out the issue, teach you self-hypnosis, and develop a solid rapport making future sessions flow with relative ease.

However, this entire process can be streamlined using downloaded audio hypnosis.  So even if you’re not familiar with hypnosis, or self-hypnosis audio downloads will work for you.

If you’re nervous about seeing someone in person for whatever reason that’s ok because you don’t have to leave your home.

Also if you’re on a budget hypnosis downloads can be a very economical way to get the solutions your wanting. This can truly be an all-around win for you.

But what about the issue of generic sessions?  And where can you go to get quality downloadable tracks?

How many hypnosis tracks can you do a day?

First off you need to know that even if a hypnosis download is more general like weight loss, for example, it will still work.

The process may take longer because your subconscious mind needs to take an extra step or two to make the suggestion your own.

So repetition alone will do the job but there is one other technique that will help you greatly, complimentary tracks.

Take a look at the image below. The main session on the left (Fall Asleep Fast) but to the right is the complimentary session (Drift Off To Sleep)

These two hypnosis sessions work together just as well and in combination, they give you the same results as if you went to see a hypnotherapist in person.

Also, take note of the price.

To put their price into perspective I charge $100.00 for the first session and $85.00 for every session thereafter and my rates are on the modest side.

Like I said audio hypnosis is very budget-friendly.

So you can stack two, three, even four tracks back to back, see some amazing results, and spend less than $60.00 to do it.

That’s a hard deal to beat and the quality you get from is some of the best on the internet.

But how many audio hypnosis tracks should you listen to a day?

A best practice is to listen to no less than two sessions a day or one session twice a day and no more than four sessions a day or one session three times a day.

Anything more than that and you risk adding on too much at once and chances are you will give up.

Your subconscious can go all day and night but you can’t.

Even if you have a major issue that you think you’re ready to do a 24-hour two-week hypnosis retreat I caution you to pace yourself.

Burn out is real and your subconscious needs time to process all this new change you’re asking for.  So do as the old-world alchemist advise and “Make hast slowly”
