How To Get Permanent Results From Subliminal Recordings

How To Get Permanent Results From Subliminal Recordings

The idea of using subliminal recordings to make better changes in your life sounds almost too good to be true. That’s what I thought, at least.

And even when I started using them, I still wasn’t convinced they were good enough alone. I wanted to make sure that whatever changes I made were permanent.

So around 2011, I started experimenting.

First with the recordings and then with making my own recordings. Then I tried incorporating other practices into what I was doing, and for a while, things got overcomplicated.

It can be a challenge getting beyond other people’s limitations that you accepted as your own. But I was able to distill years of trial error and success into a personal system I can use.

The idea is pretty straightforward.

To make the positive change permanent, you should reprogram your subconscious mind with a combination of techniques. Using self-hypnosis, guided imagery, and Subliminals. This will create an irresistible force in the subconscious mind.

The reason why is that you reprogram your mind with a combination of methods as a system is to keep you more engaged through the process.

  • The different techniques will reinforce each other.
  • You can engage 3 paths of information reception.
  • It’s the best method for long-term change.

Subliminals work, but some people are receptive to them than others. But that doesn’t mean you should give up on them if your kinesthetic pathway is more developed.

On the contrary, success happens more often if you can combine 3 channels into your subconscious mind, supporting each other.

And this can be done without taking up any more time than it would take if you were to learn a new hobby. That’s the intensity level you need. If you can bring a new hobby level of interest and energy, you can succeed.

Why Are Your Subliminals Not Working?

Your Subliminal recordings are not working, and you’ve been listening to them continually for at least 90 days. And yet, you’re not feeling any change.

If this is the case, then 1 of 3 things is happening.

  1. The subliminal recording is poorly made.
  2. Your subconscious is rejecting the messenger.
  3. The messages are going too far away from your self-image.

The subliminal recording is poorly made.

This happens a lot.

Because the recordings are so easy to make, some people think they can just grab any affirmations off the internet and use those.

They don’t take the time to do necessary background research. So the programs they put together end up being a haphazardly put-together product, and so are your results.

They either don’t use the right amount of repetitions for the right amount of time. You want the phrase to be repeated at least 20 times for at least 15 minutes.

Or they do not put the affirmations together so that all the suggestions are moving your subconscious mind in the same direction.

Your subconscious is rejecting the messenger.

This is more of a subjective choice. But if the sound of the recording is annoying to you. Or you think the background music is corny.

Your conscious mind will put up some resistance. If you don’t like what you are listening to, stop and find a recording more to your liking.

Forcing the issue will not work in your favor.

The messages are going too far away from your self-image.

If you can’t imagine yourself being or doing a thing, then it will not happen. It doesn’t matter how bad you want it. If you can’t see yourself being it, you won’t become what you are aiming for.

This inner fact was discovered and explained by Dr. Maxwell Maltz in his book Psycho-Cybernetics.

“The ‘self-image’ is the key to human personality and human behavior. Change the self-image, and you change the personality and the behavior.”

Dr. Maxwell Maltz

(If you decide to buy the book, I recommend getting the original 1960’s version)

But the thing to remember is that you have mental boundaries you can not grow past until you change the mental image.

Your Subconscious Mind And The 3 Paths of Reception

Science has discovered that we have three paths of learning.

65% percent of the population are visual people. Visual people learn best through visual communication.
AudioAround 30% percent of the population (myself included) are auditory people who learn best with their ears.
KinestheticKinesthetic people make up only 5% percent of the population. A Kinesthetic person needs to be involved in the action to learn.

How does all this apply to Subliminal recordings? If you’re a visual person placing all your focus on audio tracks like Subliminals may not be the best path to take.

And if you’re a kinesthetic type sitting still doing nothing but playing an audio track might make you so bored that you give up before you see any real change.

So we need two other paths that engage our other two channels of learning. Enter Self-hypnosis and guided imagery.

Guided imagery and Hypnosis appeals to both visual and kinesthetic people. There is no fast and hard division between these two techniques because they blend into each other.

But you can’t just use these three tools haphazardly. For best results, you’re going to have to put these tools together in a logical system or stack.

You Need To Make A Mental Stack

A mental stack is just like it sounds. You are stacking together Subliminals, Self-hypnosis, and Guided Imagery into one method. But the method is not a one size fits all approach.

You’re going to Taylor it first by your learning style, then by your personality, and lastly, your lifestyle.

So let’s say you figure out you’re a Kinesthetic type. You’re also married with a family and career.

How do you set up a mental stack that fits into your life?

First, you know you’re kinesthetic, so Subliminals will be more supplemental programming than core programming. Your core programming will be guided imagery with Self-Hypnosis.

Now let’s look at the personality aspect.

  • Are you an impatient person?
  • Are you a night owl or an early bird?
  • Does background music bother you?

These are your personality traits. They speak to your personal style and how you like your world.

If you like listening to masculine voices, you’re not going to enjoy a soft female voice no matter how skilled she is.

This may take some experimentation at first to know what you like the most. But don’t make it into a chore; have fun with the process.

Even if you begin with some recordings or content, you end up not caring for it will still give you satisfactory results while shopping for what you really like.

And lastly, we need to look at your lifestyle. In our example, the person has a family. So we know you have to work around time constraints.

Let’s say you have a large block of time early morning followed by 15 minutes you can squeeze in during work.

The evening is most unpredictable, but again you can make a point to have some meditation time right before bed. This is how a daily routine could look for you.

MorningSelf-hypnosis Full Guided imagery Half an hour, (Morning or evening) drive to work, listen to your subliminal track.
10 to 15 minutes in your car (If you’re at work) using instant self-hypnosis with repetition of affirmations (Emile Coue style)  Morning or Evening drive home, listen to your subliminal track.
Evening10 to 15 Minutes (In bed, easy-chair, etc…) Guided imagery one scene you can live out and enjoy.

Now that you have your schedule set, get started, and don’t stop for 90 days.

It was the work of Dr. Maltz’s book Psycho-Cybernetics that first established the 21 days to change a habit mantra. But since the 1960’s we have learned that 21 days is more like planting a seed than full-blown change.

This takes nothing away from Dr. Maltz’s brilliant work. Nor do I think he would be bothered that we became more accurate over the decades.

But what it does mean is that you now have a better road map for change.

21 Days to plant a seed.
66 days for the seed to take root and grow.
90 Days for the first blossom.

And finally, 300 days to a permeate life fixture.

These are averages, so use them as guidelines. But you can see that you can make your own personal development program.

But how do-it-yourself do you want to go, and is it better to be your own therapist?

Should you make your Own Subliminals?

Should you make your Own Subliminals?

Yes, if you feel comfortable recording your own voice, you should do it.

If you don’t have audio software, no worries, you can use Audacity. It’s free, just as good as some of the paid options. And there are many tutorials for Audacity like this one.

But why should you record in your own voice? Because when your subconscious mind accepts a suggestion, it will first convert it into your voice.

If you go see a hypnotherapist and they give you a hypnotic suggestion. It is only accepted after the suggestion is converted into your own thought as if you were the one saying it.

That’s what is meant by all suggestions are auto-suggestions. So, in this case, you can cut out the middle person and speak directly to yourself.

If you decide to do it yourself, make sure you do your homework first. You decided you want to work on weight loss.

You start with a google/ bing /duckduckgo (you should use all 3) search for good affirmations to copy. And after an extensive search, you have a nice size list of suggestions you like.

Now it’s time to split them up into groups.

  • You love to Exercise group.
  • You eat healthy group.
  • You keep away from the Junk food group.
  • Subconscious body composition group

And let’s say you make 10 statements for each group. That’s 40 total statements, and recording takes about 8 minutes.

If you copy-paste the track in Audacity twice, that’s 16 minutes of robust mind programming from you to yourself.

And you can get some great results with that recording, but you can make it even more useful if you add on a few more steps.

What else can you do?

Speed up the tempo by about 25 percent. Speeding up the tempo will not change your voice’s tone, but it will make you talk faster.

Use reverse speech at low volume. On the same track, do another copy-paste of the recording, and once you move it to its own space and reverse the track. In Audacity, the reverse option is in the settings tab. It’s easy to find.

Play the entire track in each ear at different tempos and at other times. This is one of my favorite techniques.

What you’re doing is playing the track in one ear. Once it’s going for about a minute, start the same track all over again in the other ear.

What a finished product could sound like.

The main recording is playing at regular volume but 25% faster tempo. Another version of the recording is playing in reverse. This one is at low volume at the same 25% faster tempo.

A version of the recording is playing in one ear at a specific tempo. A version playing in the other ear started at a delayed time from the one ear version.

Keep in mind this is all on the same track, and this is just the subliminal recordings we’re talking about.

Although it’s more work, a recording like this will work better for you no matter your type. Visual, as well as Kinesthetic learners, can benefit from these power-subliminal recordings.

But we’re not done yet. We need to move onto self-hypnosis.

Subliminals and Self-Hypnosis The Magic Formula

Why do you need Self-hypnosis?

Because it doesn’t matter what learning style you are. Your personality is irrelevant here too. And lifestyle is no hindrance at all.

In other words, you need self-hypnosis because it works. And you need it as soon as you can learn how to do it.

Because being in a hypnotic state puts you in more direct communication with your Subconscious mind. This is where you need to be to make the change you want to make.

If you feel that your visualization skills are weak, the best way to make them 10 times better is in Hypnosis. If you feel over anxious when it’s time to do your mind reprogramming.

You will feel calmer and a lot better about what you are doing in Hypnosis. Not to mention the more you go into that space, the more developed it will become.

After a few months, you’ll gather the power and presence to put a thought in the Ether and know your subconscious will move. This is going to take some practice, but it is a skill anyone can learn.

But where can you learn Self-Hypnosis?

You can learn a few ways, but my recommendation is free, but the content is as good as anything you will on the internet.

It’s called Learn Hypnosis in five days From Hypnosis They go over Hypnosis in detail and show you how to do Self-Hypnosis.

It’s some of the best work in the field. The content is well researched and professionally done. And yes, they have programs, hypnosis tracks, hypnosis scripts, and even courses, and they are very budget-friendly.

But “The Learn Hypnosis In Five Days” class is free, and at no cost, you can pick up a skill for life. They even have a hypnosis program to help with the next subject we need to go over Guided imagery.

Guided Imagery Helps The Kinesthetic Mind

The best kind of Guided Imagery is the ones where you are using more than your imaginary eyesight. The best kind is where you are fully immersed in the experience.

This is a kinesthetic playground or laboratory, depending on the situation. And even if you’re not a kinesthetic learner, you can still make giant leaps doing this practice.

That’s because when visualizing, using all your five senses as much as you can. You are making the scene so real that your subconscious mind is becoming convinced that this is reality.

Never forget that it’s your Subconscious mind that controls 95% of your thinking down to the roots. That’s why we always start and end with The Subconscious Mind.

This is also why self-hypnosis is so critical during all this. It just makes the process so much easier.

And you don’t need to visualize for half an hour unless you just want to. 10 to 15 minutes consistently will do nicely. Remember, it’s the consistency that matters most.

Some of your imagery senses will be stronger than others. That’s to be expected; this is why we have, Audio, Visual, kinesthetics in the first place.

Your imagery’s sense of smell may be as weak as a baby chicken; it doesn’t matter. Just using it in conjunction with the stronger senses will work wonders.

Also, the more you use the weaker senses, the stronger they will become. Nothing is written in stone, including what kind of learner you are.

You can change, update and augment yourself along with everything else. That’s part of the bigger picture. You can change yourself.

Should I add Binaural beats to my homemade Subliminals?

Yes, but I would recommend using gamma brain waves only. Alpha brain waves are great if you’re relaxing theta even more so.

But chances are you’re going to be in the car or walking or on the way home from work.

You’re going to be busy doing stuff while listening to these in the background. So being super relaxed may or may not be a good idea.

But super inspired is a great idea no matter the time. And that’s what gamma brains ways help with.

They don’t make you feel drowsy. You feel motivated. And if you want to make a change in life, inspiration and motivation would be helpful.

What if I can’t make my own Subliminal recordings?

There are more than a few websites out there that sell them. Just make sure you shop around and try out more than one.

Also, you have to give all Subliminals at least 90 Days to take some effect. This doesn’t mean you have “The Solution.”

It means that you start to see and experience synchronicities that are happening more and more to the point where it can’t be just a coincidence.

Will Self-Hypnosis and guided imagery help me change my self-image?

In my opinion, if you are working alone, it’s the only thing that can.

If you want or need to make a change in your life sooner rather than later.

And by choice or necessity, you have to be your own therapist. Self-Hypnosis and guided imagery are the way to go. I would also add on a little help from the hypnosis Downloads library.
